"I have to say I was kinda uncertain as to whether Ratboy Genius and Summer Solstice Baby were already dating or not at the beginning. Regardless I think this episode clearly sets where they have reached in their relationship, and it’s a really sweet place. I am a rom-com lover and so I too loved this episode, which played out like the climax of a rom-com movie."
"This episode was the first in a while to really move the plot forward in a significant way, and what a development! For most of the series up until this point, there has been a simmering attraction at the base of Ratboy and Summer Solstice’s friendship, and it’s all come to a head. The musical number was really great; it reminds me of Songs From the Black Hole if it actually had a good underlying plot. Great episode, short and sweet."
